# 18+ External Content Policy

Source: https://sneezeindex.com/18-plus-policy/

SneezeIndex itself is designed as a visually non-explicit directory, but some creators use external destinations containing nudity or sexually explicit material.

## How Adult / 18+ links are labeled\n\n
An external destination can be classified Adult / 18+ when public evidence indicates nudity or sexually explicit material may be present. The label applies to the destination whenever possible, not automatically to every account a creator operates.

## Outbound warning\n\n
Before opening a known Adult / 18+ destination, SneezeIndex displays an age/content warning. A visitor can acknowledge the warning for the current session. SneezeIndex does not use this warning as a substitute for the destination platform’s own age-verification requirements.

## Different platforms can have different ratings\n\n
A creator may have a General public social profile, a Mature/Fetish community account and an Adult / 18+ paid storefront. SneezeIndex stores those destination ratings separately rather than treating the creator as one blanket content category.

## Profile imagery remains non-explicit\n\n
SneezeIndex profile cards and public creator pages use safe creator avatars or creator-approved images. Nude or sexually explicit profile photos are not used in the directory even when the linked creator also offers adult content elsewhere.

## Age responsibility\n\n
Adult destinations are intended only for visitors who satisfy the age requirements and laws applicable to them. Visitors should not proceed to an Adult / 18+ destination if they are not legally permitted to view that material.
