# What Is a Sneeze WAV?

Source: https://sneezeindex.com/guides/what-is-a-sneeze-wav/

A **sneeze WAV** is a sneeze-focused audio recording. WAV is technically the name of an audio file format, but in sneeze communities the word became a broader shorthand for recorded sneeze audio. A creator may call something a WAV even when you ultimately stream it or download it in another file format.

## What is usually in a sneeze WAV?\n\n
There is no single format. A WAV can be a very short recording of one spontaneous sneeze, a longer fit, an induced session, a compilation, a spoken scenario, a roleplay, or a custom recording made to request. Some creators talk before or between sneezes; others publish cleaner recordings with very little speech.

You may also see descriptions such as Natural, Induced, Allergy, Cold / Illness, Build-Up, Stifled, Multiples, Nose Blowing or Sniffling. Those terms describe what happens in the recording rather than the audio format itself.

## Natural WAVs\n\n
Natural audio captures sneezes that happened without being deliberately triggered for the recording. The appeal for some listeners is the unpredictability: there may be a long wait, an interrupted sentence, a false start or an unexpected fit.

## Induced WAVs\n\n
Induced audio is recorded during a deliberately planned sneezing session. That can make it easier for a creator to produce longer recordings or a custom request on a schedule. Some creators publish only one type, while others offer both natural and induced recordings.

## Free audio, subscriptions and paid downloads\n\n
Creators distribute WAVs in different ways. Short recordings may be posted publicly on social accounts or blogs. Longer audio may be included in a subscription, sold individually or bundled with other material. Older links can disappear when a creator changes platforms, so the creator’s main profile is usually a better bookmark than one individual audio post.

## What is a custom WAV?\n\n
A custom WAV is an audio recording created for a customer’s request. Depending on the creator, you may be able to request a general scenario, approximate duration, amount of talking, a roleplay idea or other creative details. Every creator sets their own boundaries, prices and ordering process.

If a creator has claimed their SneezeIndex profile, you may also see first-hand information such as a typical price range or turnaround time. Otherwise, use the creator’s current storefront as the final source for ordering details.

## WAV does not mean adult\n\n
The word WAV tells you the format, not the content rating. Some sneeze audio is non-explicit. Some is clearly fetish-oriented. Some is sold through an adult storefront. Check the destination label before opening an external page rather than assuming from the word WAV alone.

## How to find the right audio creator\n\n
Start with the [Audio directory](/audio/) and narrow by the characteristics you care about. If you specifically want requested audio, use the [Customs](/customs/) section and confirm that the creator currently accepts audio requests.
